About Ziqing
Ziqing Ang is Head of Policy for Asia-Pacific at TRM Labs, the blockchain intelligence company whose AI-first tooling is used to trace illicit networks and support compliance teams inside financial institutions. She joined in August 2026 to lead TRM’s engagement with regulators, policymakers, law enforcement agencies and private institutions across the region - at the point where APAC is drafting its digital asset and AI governance frameworks simultaneously, and where TRM’s own tracking shows AI-enabled scam activity up 40%, from deepfake recruitment videos to fabricated account dashboards.
She brings more than a decade across policy, financial markets, digital assets and institutional business development, and began her career at the Monetary Authority of Singapore. Over eight years there she worked in financial markets development and reserve management, alongside industry and public-sector counterparts on initiatives advancing Singapore’s capital markets and its standing as a global financial centre, and went on to manage fixed income portfolios and contribute macroeconomic and investment research for the country’s official foreign reserves.
From the regulator she moved into the industry it oversees: first to Sygnum, the first regulated digital asset bank, as Vice President of Business Development, working on digital asset adoption among institutional and accredited investors, and then to Bright Point International Digital Assets (BPI Financial Group) as Chief Business Officer, where she built out the firm’s OTC brokerage across licensing and institutional infrastructure. “I’ve spent my career moving between regulators and the institutions they oversee,” she said on joining TRM - which is the vantage point this summit keeps asking for: not whether an agent can transact, but what a supervisor will accept once it does.
