About Yoke Ling
Kew Yoke Ling is the Founder and Executive Director of KewMann, an enterprise AI company serving highly regulated industries across ASEAN - the public sector, banking, insurance, healthcare and education. Under his leadership KewMann has become a transformation partner to institutions operating in complex regulatory environments, delivering mission-critical data platforms, advanced analytics and responsible AI systems that move past experimentation into measurable impact.
Beyond the firm, Yoke Ling is an active contributor to the financial services and regulatory technology ecosystem. He has trained regional bankers and insurers through the Asian Banking School, a subsidiary of Bank Negara Malaysia, on big data analytics and artificial intelligence, and he chairs the RegTech Subcommittee of the Singapore FinTech Association, where he works at the intersection of AI, governance and financial regulation.
He is the author of two books, “Introduction to Digital Banking” and “Big Data Analytics & Artificial Intelligence”, alongside numerous papers and articles on advancing digital capability inside financial institutions. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Computing from the University of Staffordshire, graduating as Best Student in 2000, and a Chartered Institute of Marketing postgraduate diploma in 2002, where he took worldwide top-student distinction in two CIM subjects in a single sitting.
His focus now is scaling KewMann into a regional AI leader for regulated markets, building sovereign-grade AI capability that is secure, explainable and commercially accountable - which is the question this summit keeps returning to: what an institution has to be able to show a supervisor once a model starts acting on its own.
