About Avital
Avital Haitovich is a partner at Gornitzky & Co. and leads the firm’s crypto and blockchain practice, advising on fintech, digital assets, anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorist-financing regimes, privacy and information security. Her work covers the regulatory questions that decide whether a product can launch at all - how tokens, smart contracts, DAOs and Web3 services are treated by supervisors, and what obligations attach to the firms operating them. She also acts for buyers and sellers in cross-border M&A. Before private practice she spent six years in Israel’s Military Advocate General Corps working on national security and international law. Agentic finance raises liability questions nobody has settled yet, and that is the ground she works on.
