Ouriel Ohayon co-founded Zengo, the self-custodial wallet built on multi-party computation rather than seed phrases, and led it as CEO until eToro acquired the company in April 2026 in a deal reported at around $70 million. He now continues to run Zengo inside eToro, where self-custody sits alongside a listed brokerage business. A serial founder and early-stage investor before Zengo, he has spent years on the hardest problem in consumer crypto: giving people real custody of their assets without handing them a set of failure modes they cannot manage. That question becomes sharper when the party signing transactions is an agent rather than a person.
