About Jonathan
Jonathan Schemoul is the founder of LibertAI and Aleph Cloud. His work focuses on one question: how can you trust an AI agent with money? LibertAI’s answer is to run the whole agent inside a hardware-secured enclave (TEE): the model inference, its memory and its signing keys. Code and data stay encrypted while they run, the hardware can prove what code is running, and no one else can extract the keys, not the cloud provider, the operator or LibertAI itself. On this base, LibertAI runs autonomous agents that hold their own wallets and pay for their own compute over x402. Before LibertAI, Jonathan founded Aleph Cloud, a decentralized compute and storage network he has run for eight years, whose $ALEPH token is listed on major exchanges including Coinbase.
