About Omri
Omri Ross is Chief Blockchain Officer at eToro, where he oversees research and development of the firm’s blockchain products and leads several of its strategic initiatives, and an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Copenhagen. He joined eToro through its acquisition of Firmo Network, the blockchain company he founded and ran as CEO, and has since worked on tokenisation, self-custody and decentralised finance from inside a listed brokerage. He holds a PhD in financial mathematics from the University of Cambridge and has previously held roles at Barclays Capital, Microsoft and Nykredit.
