About Yoni
Yoni Assia co-founded eToro in 2007 and has led it from a social trading start-up to a publicly listed multi-asset investment platform serving retail and institutional investors across equities, commodities and crypto. He has spent close to two decades arguing that markets should be transparent and social by default, building the CopyTrader model that lets investors mirror each other’s portfolios, and more recently pushing eToro into tokenised assets and self-custody through the acquisition of Zengo. His perspective matters here because eToro operates at the scale where agent-driven execution stops being a demo and becomes a question of market structure, suitability and investor protection.
