About Shiliang
Shiliang Tang is the Managing Partner of Monarq Asset Management, a quantitative investment firm focused on digital assets. He previously founded LedgerPrime, scaling the firm to $400 million in assets under management by 2022, and co-founded digital asset derivatives trading firm Arbelos Markets, which was acquired by FalconX in 2024. Earlier, Shiliang co-founded Y Combinator-backed fintech company WorldCover and traded volatility and high-frequency strategies on the proprietary trading desks of Merrill Lynch and UBS. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from MIT and the CFA and CAIA designations.
