About Yoshi
Yoshi Yokokawa is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Alpaca, a global leader in agent-first brokerage infrastructure transforming how financial services are built and accessed. He brings nearly two decades of experience across traditional financial markets and fintech. Before co-founding Alpaca, Yoshi served as Managing Partner at a software development firm focused on big data solutions. Prior to that, he was a Forex trader and Vice President in Structured Finance at Nomura Holdings, and began his career at Lehman Brothers. Yoshi has been recognized as a 2025 Endeavor Entrepreneur and 2026 EY Entrepreneur Of The Year finalist. He is a Y Combinator alum and holds a degree from Keio University in Tokyo.
