About Xen
Xen Baynham-Herd is the Head of Marketing and Global Expansion at Base, the blockchain for global finance, where he focuses on driving adoption and supporting builders around the world. Previously, Xen was the co-founder and CEO of Roam, the onchain browser and search engine that was acquired by Coinbase in 2025. Xen has also served as the COO of The Network State, the COO & VP Product at Blockchain.com, and a Director of Trading at the investment bank UBS. He is based in London and holds a Masters Degree in Finance.
