About Sergio
Sergio Chan is Co-founder of t54 Labs, which is building the trust layer for the agentic economy: risk and underwriting infrastructure that helps institutions and applications verify agent identity and intent, assess transaction and counterparty risk before money moves, and preserve evidence for compliance and accountability. t54 also develops ecosystem infrastructure that brings those controls to the protocols and financial rails where agents transact, and is backed by Ripple, Franklin Templeton, Anagram and PL Capital. A full-stack engineer and repeat AI founder, Sergio previously founded and led rct.ai (Y Combinator W19), an AI company that raised $30 million. Earlier in his career he served as COO of RavenTech (YC W15), a conversational AI startup acquired by Baidu in 2017, and as Project Lead and Chief of Staff in Baidu’s AI Smart Hardware division. He was also an early team member at SenseTime. His background spans hands-on engineering, product execution, company building, and operations.
