Avital Haitovich is a partner at Gornitzky & Co. and leads the firm’s crypto and blockchain practice, advising on fintech, digital assets, anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorist-financing regimes, privacy and information security. Her work covers the regulatory questions that decide whether a product can launch at all - how tokens, smart contracts, DAOs and Web3 services are treated by supervisors, and what obligations attach to the firms operating them. She also acts for buyers and sellers in cross-border M&A. Agentic finance raises liability questions nobody has settled yet, and that is the ground she works on.
